Generating a PDF

Tap Save & Preview PDF from any report. FieldReportX will:

Save the report to history.
Generate a PDF with all field values, photos, signatures, and drawings embedded.
Open the PDF preview screen.

From there, tap Share to send the PDF via email, WhatsApp, Google Drive, or any other app on your device.

What’s in the PDF

Header — company logo, name, and contact details from the business profile attached to the report.
Report name and date
All sections and fields, in the order defined by the template.
Photos — embedded as images, annotations included.
Signatures — embedded as images.
Drawings — embedded as images.
GPS coordinates — shown as text beneath the field.
Quote totals — every line item plus subtotal, tax, and total.
Calculation results — the formula and its computed value.

Business profile in the PDF header

The PDF header pulls from the business profile attached to the report. You can choose which elements appear (logo, company name, contact details) in the template builder, under Report Layout options.

If you have multiple business profiles, you can pick which one to use when creating a report.

Submitted timestamp

Once you share a PDF, FieldReportX records a submitted at timestamp on the report. That timestamp sticks — sharing the report again won’t overwrite it.
